Independence Day

Every year on the first full moon day since the summer solstice this day is celebrate as a Guru Purnima.
Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute celebrated 78 th Independence Day in grand style. Everyone's face was lit up with patriotism and the infinite joy of freedom. The Auspicious programme of Independence day was held at 7.30 am in the presence of our school trustee Mr.Shantaram Dardi,headmistress and retired army officer. Students gave their noteworthy contribution to perform the national anthem, patriotic songs, and slogans. The teachers, students and other staff members put in wholehearted efforts to make the independence ceremony a success. This time 15th August was celebrated like an unforgettable festival.
The chief guest of the programme Honorable Vahinisaheb also had other guests present for this programme, Respected colonel Chavan Sir, Respected Dardi Sir ( Trustee of JNMEI), Respected Principal Dr. Patil Madam.
The lamp was lit by Vahini Saheb, Colonel Chavan Sir and Daradi Sir (Trustee of JNMEI). Colonel Chavan sir felicitated in a grand manner for his 35 years of uninterrupted service to the country.Other dignitaries were welcomed and felicitated with roses. The students expressed their feeling and emotion for their country through self motivated speech. The students' expression showed their respect and love for the country. On behalf of the teachers Chitale Sir tried to highlight precious moments of freedom.
The teachers, students, and other staff members put in wholehearted efforts to make the Independence ceremony a success. This time 15 th August was celebrated like an unforgettable festival.
The chief guest coined the mean of freedom and even advised students to firm on their opinion. She convinced students to perceive a positive attitude and aptitude. Unity in diversity marked by the chief guest even collected student feedback. She asked students to know their potential as well as to preserve others' interest. Ultimately students are encouraged to express their own point of view.
The Honourable Principal madam given warm wishes to everyone on precious occasion of Independence day. Her speech awakened everyone's feelings towards the motherland. Miss Mali expressed a vote of thanks to those who were being a part of this auspicious programme. This function came to end with the distribution of sweets. This programme recalled old memories of those who sacrificed their life for the freedom of India.

Guru Purnima celebrations at Nanij

Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute ,Nanij (JNMEI) had celebrated this day to offering their respect towards their Spiritual or Academic Gurus.
On the Occasion of Guru Purnima the Anchoring of Program was done by Mrs. Taralkar Madam , This program was started by the Worship of Statue of Saraswati & Photo of Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj.Mrs.Raut madam had introduced the Program and the Importance of Guru's in our life. Mrs.Suvare advised to the students by the stories. Students from class 1st to 12th activity participated for this programme.Students had to present their speeches in English ,Hindi and Sanskrit Languages.
The Guest for todays Program was Dr.Aboli Patil madam. Madam had guided to the students and teachers & given wish to Everyone. Senior Professor Mr. Bhosale sir also guided to the Students by his inspirational speech
The program was concluded by Vote of Thanks was done by Mr. Jadhav.
Nanij : Ashadhi Ekadashi celebration
The shower of monsoon brings with its various religious festivals in a row and Ashadi ekadashi stands first the row. Four months of Ashadh to Kartik are very important in Hindu religion. It is said that children learn from their experiences and observations so in Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute ,Nanij (JNMEI) We celebrate various festivals to give them real life experiences the very first festival of the year that we celebrated was II Ashadi Ekadashi
Our cute little kids right from the Pre primary to higher secondary participated in this celebration. The children came to school dressed up as little warkari carrying cymbals in their hands and wearing rosary around their neck. The school premises were full of these little warkaris . Some student played the role of Vitthal , Rukmini and other Saints. Students carried out a Dindi procession on Ashadhi Ekadashi . Also special religious songs were held by the students. The JNMEI premises was not as usual but turn into mini Pandharpur on the day of aashadhi Ekadashi celebration , Later all the participants gathered and concluded the program with religious songs . The main aim to conduct this event was successful, students enjoyed and gain a lot of information about the important festival of India.
International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute, Nanij.
Mr. Shanta ram Dardi (trustee of the institute) was the chief guest for the event. He started the program by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, guests were welcomed with roses. School sports teacher Mr. Mane demonstrated the importance of yoga to the students. Following the demonstration, the students also performed yoga. All teachers of the school attended the program. The students and staff of JNMEI participated in various activities to mark the International Yoga Day. The school campus was abuzz with activity, with students pouring in cheerfully and their beaming faces telling tales of their pursuing yoga asanas as part of their daily routine.
The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. The theme for the 2024 celebration is 'Yoga for Self and Society'. Keeping in view this mission and marking towards good health through yoga, the volunteers were also given knowledge about the benefits of different yoga asanas. Teachers had been training the students regularly as yoga is a part of the curriculum as well. Students had been practicing various asanas, including Tadasana (good for increasing the height of children), PadaHastasana (beneficial for the health of the spine), Bhujangasana, Vajrasana (improves digestion), Pranayams including Bhramari Pranayama, Anuloma-Viloma Pranayama, and Suryanamskars.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
Maharashtra Day program concluded with enthusiasm at Jagadguru Narendracharya Maharaj Educational Institute

Jagadguru Narendracharya Maharaj Sansthan conducted by Jagadguru Narendracharya Maharaj Educational Institute Nanij concluded the Maharashtra Day program during which Chief Trustee of Jagadguru Narendracharya Maharaj Sansthan Shantaram Dardi was present as the chief guest of the program. At the same time, Principal of the school Mrs. Abolee Patil, senior teacher Kirti Kumar Bhosle, Jagadguru Narendracharya Maharaj Sansthan Publicity Head Rajan Bodekar and other dignitaries were present. At the beginning of the program, Mr. Shantaram Dardi first hoisted the flag, followed by the students National Anthem, Flag Anthem and Maharashtrian Anthem were presented. All the dignitaries present worshiped the image and lit the lamp in a traditional way. At the same time, all the dignitaries were welcomed with flower bouquets. After that, the principal of the school introduced the program .The students presented a cultural program in which Lavani which is a folk art of Maharashtra was presented by the student Shaurya Kajrekar and the students also presented Lezeem dance and recitation. The results of all the competitive examinations of the year were announced and the first three ranked students in all the competitions were felicitated with certificates and badges. The program was attended by all the teachers. The program was coordinated by Shreya Vibhute and Prasad Raut, students of class XI. The program was thanked by Chaitanya Bhogte, student of class XI. And the program ended.
M. Gandhi Jayanti & Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Nanij : On the Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi,
a spectacular celebration was held at Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj
Educational Institute, Nanij. Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu
by all Indians, is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence
that led India to its glorious freedom.
In order to pay our tributes to the leader of non-violence and to give a deep
insight into the life of Mahatma Gandhi, the students articulated Gandhi's
ideology and contributions towards Indian independence and a wonderful skit
was presented that captured the attention of one and all present in special
morning assembly. It was followed by the splendid performances in speech. The
students also showcased the glimpses of Gandhiji's life by sharing the facts
about his 3 bandars with the message "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."
Respected Principal Mrs. Patil ma'am enlightened the students while focusing
on the message of Gandhiji to follow the path of truth and nonviolence. In her
words of wisdom she told the Students while focusing on the message of

she told the students that 2nd october is also celebrated as International Day of
Non-Violence. Honourable ma'am, briefed the students with the true definition
of non-violence i.e. we should be peaceful and good to everyone.
A story session and craft activity 'Making of spinning Wheel' was oragnised for
the tiny-tots of school. In this activity, our young learners were told the stories
about Mahatma Gandhi and they showcased their creativity by making a
spinning wheel using different material. The main objective was to remember
such a great freedom fighter of India who brought independence for us without
any violence and to inspire the little learners by telling them about the father of
the nation.
Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute(Nanij) , school
organized Cleanliness Drive under Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyaan
Programme on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The main purpose of this
programme was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness
and its benefits. Under this programme, all the students from 9th to 12th had to
participate. Even teachers were the Essential part of this drive. The sweepers of
the school had to be the observers. And others went to the play ground and
started picking wrappers lying scattered there. After Collecting them they threw
them in to the dustbins.
There was an amazing feeling of contentment filled with pride when the day
ended with a promise to join hands and work towards making a better nation
ahead.

Nanij : India's festivals reflect the country's rich cultural abundance.
Breaking the humdrum of daily routine, these festivals bring with
them a wave of excitement, happiness. On the auspicious occasion of
Raksha Bandhan, Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational
Institute, Nanij organized several activities to make students
understand the true essence of this festival and the sacred relation of
a brother and a sister.
The festival of Raksha Bandhan not only celebrates the love and duty
between brothers and sisters, it also has a social significance. It
underlines the notion that everybody should live in harmony and
hence speaks about the rich culture and traditions of India that make
our nation extraordinary. To help our children learn about the culture
of India, various events were organised in the school today. Some
students participated in the Rakhi Making competition on the pious
occasion of Raksha Bandhan. All the learners made attractive rakhis
with the materials brought by them from their home. They presented
their self- made rakhis very beautifully along with the other
auspicious items like rice, sindoor, sugar, etc. in plates. Their
colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the whole
atmosphere. The program concluded with the principal Mrs. Patil
addressing the students and inspiring them to always cherish this
bond of love with their siblings.
It conveyed the message of purity, unmatched bond of love, care and
respect between siblings.

Nanij : At Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute Nanij, the
birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Jayanti celebrated on
26th June 2023. It was very special morning, we arranged all the celebration
event at assembly ground with the help of school's teachers and non-teaching
staff.
On this day Shahu Maharaja's image worshiped by all teachers ,non teaching
staff and students as well as paid homage by lighting the lamp in front of
Chhatrapati Rajashri Shahu Maharaj Portrait. To highlight the greatness of
Chhatrapati Rajashri Shahu Maharaj.
The day was very enthusiastic for students. Some students had given speeches
about Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj and his work for society .
First Maharaja of the princely state of Kolhapur, he was an invaluable gem in
the history of Maharashtra. Greatly influenced by the contributions of social
reformer Jyotiba Phule, Shahu Maharaj was an ideal leader and able ruler who
was associated with many progressive and path breaking activities during his
rule. From his coronation in 1894 till his demise in 1922, he worked tirelessly for
the cause of the lower caste subjects in his state. Primary education to all
regardless of caste and creed was one of his most significant priorities.
At the end of the event, the non-participant also eagerly shared their views on
Chhatrapati Rajashri Shahu Maharaj and his work for society, Chhatrapati Shahu
Maharaj, also known as Rajarshi Shahu was considered a true democrat and
social reformer. The programme concluded with a positive note.
Students had taken good qualities of Shahu Maharaj and they promises that
they will execute thought of Rajashri Shahu Maharaj in their coming life.
International Yoga Day

Nanij : Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute,
Nanij, has always been in the forefront to ensure the best for the
students. The foremost priority is health and well-being of our
students, by keeping a healthy balance of mind and body. Yoga, being
a catalyst to mental well-being embodies the unity of mind and body.
It helps to instill confidence and to bring learning to children on an
experiential level and teaches them to persevere, be patient, and
work towards their goals. Yoga also provides tools for practicing
compassion, mindfulness, generosity, focus, strength and flexibility.
To stay strong and be strong to face the tough times it is even more
important to build up our immunity, within the four walls of our
house. In the pursuit of the same, on International Yoga Day, the
students of all classes participated in Yoga sessions. The international
yoga day celebrated by the students with great enthusiasm and
vigour. The students demonstrated various asanas. Warming up
exercises were done and all the students performed sitting and
standing asanas. The benefits of the postures were narrated by the
teacher side by side as children performed with the instructions e.g.
the importance of meditation and pranayama, in day today life to
keeps one mentally, physically, psychologically healthy was
highlighted.

MAHARASHTRA DAY
Monday, 01 May 2023 - Nanij : While the whole world celebrates 1st May as International Labour day; for people in Maharashtra, 1st May is celebrated as Maharashtra Day. The day is significant for Maharashtra as it was on 1st May when the state was formed. The States Reorganisation Act, 1956, defined boundaries for states within India on the basis of languages. So Maharashtra Day was celebrated in Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute with joy and pride.
Two important events took place on the school campus on 1st May 2023. It was officially the last day for the staff and students before the commencement of the summer vacation and the distribution of year's results to the students . From this year 'Best Student’ from Jr. Kg to 8th std. Students awarded with a certificate by the institute. The speaker teacher Mr. Dhanwade welcomed the principal ma’am, Mr. Bhosle sir ,Guest of the programme Mr. Shantaram Dardi( Trustee of JNMEI), students and Parents. All Maharashtrians irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or color are equally excited because it marks the day Maharashtra attained statehood. Friday, 14th April 2023 - Nanij : Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute,
Nanij celebrated the 132nd birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on
14th April 2023 as a part of the Nationwide celebrations.
The event commenced at 8.00a.m with a prayer song sung by the staff
members . The Principal Respected Mrs.Patil Ma'am offered a floral
tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar. The Principal spoke on the occasion
and said that Dr. Ambedkar has occupied the 1st place by having
founded the Constitution. She stressed on two points - the first one
was to be a responsible citizen by following the law and protecting
the Constitution. She also said that rights and duties are the two faces
of the coin and when we enjoy these rights we are deemed to
perform our duties without fail. The second point was that we need to
honour the Constitution by respecting others rights.
She appreciated the five pillars of our Constitution -
Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic ,Republic and said that we
were blessed to have them as citizens of India.
Ratnagiri district level chess tournament
The students of Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute achieved great success in the Ratnagiri district level chess tournament. The tournament was organised at Poddar International School Ratnagiri. Mst Parth Sudhir Pawar secured second place and Mst Prasad Amar Kolte secured third place. Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj, Param Pujya Kanifnath Maharaj and the chairman of the school, Congratulated the students. Even the teachers participated in the program.

Global Hand Hygiene Day, Reading Inspiration Day at Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute
The Global Hand Hygiene Day and Reading Inspirational Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute here on 15th October 2022.The teachers of the school, convinced the students about the importance of hand washing. The demonstration was done by the teachers and principal. Some slogans were prepared and displayed in front of the students to create public awareness about cleanliness and health.
Reading Inspiration Day was also celebrated by the school on the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The teachers explained the importance of reading. Principal Abolee Patil guided the students.

74th Republic Day was celebrated in the Institute
The 74th Republic Day was celebrated in Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute Nanij on Thursday 26th of January, 2023 with great enthusiasm. Shri Shantaram Dardi, Chief Trustee of Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Sansthan was present as the chief guest of the program. The various meritorious programs were performed by the students. The Meanwhile, the students who scored more than 95 marks out of hundred in Sanskrit subject in SSC board examination were distributed certificates by Hon'ble Education Officer and Sanskrit Board Ratnagiri. The Chief Guest Shantaram Dardi asserted the purpose behind celebrating Republic Day and the positive impact of such programs on the students instills loyalty towards the country.
Athletics competition
Great success of students of Jagadguru Narendracharyaji Maharaj Educational Institute Nanij in the athletics competition
Ratnagiri- District Sub Junior Athletics Championship and Selection Trial was organized by Ratnagiri District Athletics Association on Wednesday 8th February 2023 for the state level sub junior athletics competition held at Kolhapur.
The competition was held in three groups i.e. 8 years, 10 years and under 12 years boys and girls. The competition was held at Derwan Sports Complex, Chiplun. Many students scored Gold, Silver and Bronze medal.

19th Feb - Shiv jayanti
19th Feb - Shiv jayanti is celebrated every year on 19th February as the birth anniversary of the Maratha emperor Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.On this occasion ,various activities are conducted in the school in order to create awareness in the young minds of the children regarding the valiant Maratha warrior. Besides performing ads students also come in a traditional dress the student of an inac and event from the immesive life of Shivaji Maharaj.
28 th Feb -National science day
28 th Feb -National science day is celebrated on February 28 each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist sir CV Raman .National science day is celebrated is spread a message about the importance of science used in the daily life of the people .The students of the school prepare some dead or working models to exhibit in the school.It is organised to encourage the people as well as popularize science and technology.
